real cards, playing with real

chips, and staring down a live person.
Live poker allows you to play at a slower
pace, gain experience in live situations, play with different
house rules, and meet local people!
The live poker sections to follow will give
you valuable insight into the world of live play, including
ring games, tournaments, card rooms, common procedures,
games you will find, and where to play.
Extra Note: If you play enough online tournaments,
you may someday win an entry into one of the well known
tournaments
such as the World Series of Poker, or World Poker Tour. If
this happens, having had real-table experience will be
invaluable.
